Q&A
List of common questions and answers
Q: What is the range of your vehicle?
A: We offer multiple different battery/charger configurations each having different range specifications. This is explained in more detail under our battery/charging options which can be found by clicking here. As for a short answer max range is about 30-55 miles per charge. Range can be affected by how the vehicle is operated.
Q: What is the energy cost per mile to drive your vehicle?
A: Cost per mile depends mostly on two factors. How many miles you achieve per charge and what your electric cost per KWH is. An example if your range was 30 miles with our 7.9KW flooded battery pack and you electric cost was 13 cents per KWH (7900watts / 30 = 263 watts per mile) x (13/1000 = .013) = 2.119 cents per mile.
Q: What is the life expectancy of the batteries?
A: This is explained in more detail under our battery/charging options which can be found by clicking here.
Q:What is the life expectancy of the vehicle?
A: Life expectancy depends heavily on use and maintenance. But to the best of our calculations we say at about 15 years is where the vehicles value may drop to a point you stop purchasing more expensive parts such as another set of batteries. So the actual life greatly depends on two factors. How you maintain it and at what point do you want to stop putting more money into the vehicle.
Q: What is the average annual repair costs?
A: This depends heavily on use and routine maintenance. And in every ones case is going to be different. Also on how the vehicle is equipped affects this as well. For example a vehicle with lithium batteries instead of flooded will have a higher up front cost but a lower annual repair cost. Another example is a vehicle equipped with a refuse dump box will need more suspension repairs. So there is not any way to calculate this assumption ahead of time accurately.
Q: What is the towing capacity?
A: Towing capacity is figured out by the base weight of the vehicle. The entire vehicle with occupants and item being towed can not exceed 3000 lbs. The typical base weight of a standard vehicle is about 2000 lbs. If vehicle is equipped with 100AH lithium batteries base weight is reduced 375 lbs. More information can be found here.
Q: How much weight can the vehicle haul?
A: Gross vehicle weight of vehicle should not exceed 3000 lbs. Base weight varies depending on how vehicle is equipped. Most vehicles weight about 2000 lbs allowing 1000 lbs payload. In the case of a vehicle equipped with 100 AH lithium batteries 375 lbs is reduced off the base weight of the vehicle increasing the payload to 1375 lbs.
Q: What is the max speed?
A: Max speed is 25 MPH. This speed is regulated by NHTSA. Some individual states have passed laws allowing higher speeds but due to the federal laws we can only allow a top speed of 25 MPH. Also all testing of the vehicle is done at a max speed of 25 MPH. Issues related to higher speed alterations can cause warranty to be voided.
Q: What colors are they available in?
A: The standard color is white. But vehicle can be painted any color you prefer for an additional cost.
Q: How fast do they recharge?
A: We have a number of different battery/charger configurations. The charge times are explained in detail under each of the listed options which can be found by clicking here.
Q: How many hours do they run for?
A: Hours of operation is a difficult questions and has a lot of variables. Basically if you drove the vehicle continuously at its top speed 25 MPH your run time would be essentially just over 1 hour if you achieved the max range of 30 miles. For longer run times we offer a 200 AH lithium battery pack that would double your run time. If you have some down time between tasks and are able to charge the vehicle we also offer faster chargers that increase re-charge time. For example you could equip the vehicle with a 100 AH lithium pack and 5 KW charger that recharges 62% per hour.

Q: Where are they manufactured?
A: Princeton, MN
Q: What percentage are they made in the USA?
A:The vehicles themselves are manufactured in Princeton, MN. Making the assembly of the vehicle 100% made in the USA. Our entire chassis, body panels, glass, flooded lead acid batteries, AC drive motor and lithium BMS are USA made. Speed controller are either made in the USA or Mexico. Our axle assemblies are all made in the USA with mostly USA internal components. Our suspension parts are mostly USA made. The few components not USA made would be items such as tires and rims along with other smaller components. The biggest dollar item not made in the USA would be the Lithium cells. So the percentage varies by how the vehicle is equipped and if you are looking at percentage of components or percentage of cost. But anyway you look at it percentage should be between 80-90% USA made.
